Khaled IsmaelManaging Director of Intel Mobile Communications
Khaled is a former Cairo University Professor with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (nano -electronics) from MIT (1989). He worked at IBM’s Watson Research Center in the design of novel devices and materials for the semi-conductor industry.
He has published over 160 papers and issued 22 US patents, and received various honorary awards. Between 2005 and 2007, Ismail was the senior adviser of the Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology, overseeing the technology development sector. Endeavor Egypt’s Board of Trustees includes some of the leading business figures in Egypt, such as: Khaled Bichara (Executive Chairman, Orascom Telecom), Hassan Abdallah (Vice Chairman/Managing Director, AAIB), Tarek Mansour (Country Senior Partner, PriceWaterhouseCoopers) and Tarek Tawfik (Managing Director, Cairo Poultry Group). Naguib Sawiris, former Board Chairman, will continue to support Endeavor Egypt as Board Chairman Emeritus.

Ziad Aly has more than 20 years experience in Business Development and Senior Management in IT, Logistics & Transportation and Telecommunication. Before founding ALZWAD, Ziad was an Executive Board Member at Vodafone. He is an evangelist on the role of Mobile Internet and Entrepreneurship in changing the MENA region.
Ziad is also the Founder of MASRENA NGO and the Freedom Bus and #Z100Days Initiatives concerned with Building New Egypt.
Hesham WahbyCo-Founder and CEO of Innoventures
Hesham is Co-Founder and CEO of Innoventures. Based in Cairo, he is responsible for the company's strategy and organization, creating and maintaining partnerships, access to potential ventures, and coaching entrepreneurs. In addition, Hesham is also Principal, Egypt & Middle East for Mercator XXI, a professional services firm helping clients engage the global economy. He represents Mercator XXI in the Middle East, and supports a platform for the firm’s programs in the region.
Hesham has a background of 10 years in the technology industry, as well as experience with entrepreneurial ventures. At Human Network Labs, he took part in developing a market entry strategy, and seeking strategic partners, for a novel wireless location technology. AtScenario Design Services, he provided consulting services for clients in the semiconductor industry. His earlier career also includes 5 years with Mentor Graphics as a Software Development Engineer.
Hesham has also been involved since 2002 in economic development initiatives in Egypt and the Arab region through his affiliation with theIEEE activities in the Middle East, as well as the Global Entrepreneurship Week. In 2004, he acted as Chairman for the Egyptian Engineering Day, and has since served in a marketing and public relations capacity for the annual event and its related programs, which promote entrepreneurship and industrial development in the region. In 2009, he also started the BusinessNEXUS, a platform for business matchmaking for start-ups and SMEs. Hesham obtained an MBA from the Wharton School in 2009, with a major in Entrepreneurial and Strategic Management, and also holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Cairo University.
Akram BakiRegion Sustainability Manager at Pepsico
Akram Baki , is currently holding the position of Region Sustainability Manager for Alex & Delta Plants. He joined PepsiCo International in July 2004 as the Maintenance Manager for 6 October plant for Pepsi Cola Egypt. In December 2007, he moved to its current job. Prior to joining PepsiCo International, he spent 4 years with Alahram Beverage company doing a wide variety of operation jobs in Egypt. Since 1996 till 2000 at Pepsi Cola Misr As a one way products operation manager. Prior that he worked for Siemens Co. for 10 years in Automation dept. Akram graduated from the Ain Shams University in Cairo holding a Bachelor degree in Engineering .
